When filling a pool do I have to turn the hose on and off? We just had an above ground pool built and when the builders left the guy said we can only run the hose for 2 hours then shut it off for 2 hours then repeat until it is full.

Is this true or can I just leave it on? I didn’t mind it but I’ve been doing that all day and its not even a quarter full.

My patio isn’t level for pool,  builders are coming to raise the area? My patio isn’t level for my above ground swimming pool.

Some builders said that the only way to do it is by raising an area for the pool to sit on.They said that if they leveled the area that it would cause floods because it would hold rain water. Does anyone know how much this may cost in the u.k?

Level my lawn for an above ground pool

What should I use to level my lawn for an above ground pool? My lawn does not have a big slope to it but it does have a slight one and it also has alot of potholes which makes the surface uneven. I was thinking of renting a tiller to break up the ground and re-grade the lawn.

A friend of mine told me he rented a sod cutter and graded the lawn by going over it until it was all even. My question is which is the better method or does anyone have any other better ideas? also if I have to buy dirt to add to the lower part of the grade in order to even it out, what type of soil should I buy(pavers/builders sand, topsoil, etc.)? Thanks in advance.
